Important: Food photos and voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for analysis but are NOT stored permanently. Only the transcribed text and parsed nutritional data are saved.

We use Supabase (hosted on AWS) for data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit.
